CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A historic springtime drought is forcing the grounds crew at Quail Hollow Club in south Charlotte to work around the clock as the PGA Tour prepares to return for the Truist Championship in less than two weeks.
The dry stretch has the course’s caretakers marching across the property with hoses in hand, focusing on any brown spots or wilting turf as conditions remain unusually harsh.
