HAMMOND — The Southeastern Louisiana University men’s and women’s track & field teams are set to return to Baton Rouge for the LSU Alumni Gold meet at Bernie Moore Track Stadium Saturday.
Following SLU’s Strawberry Relays at Southeastern Track Complex last week, the Lions are going back on the road for the final two meets before the Southland Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, beginning Thursday, May 14, in Nacogdoches, Texas. Saturday’s meet in Baton Rouge is set to begin at 10 a.m. with women’s hammer. Events on the track are scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. with the women’s 4×100-meter relay.
