HARRISBURG, Pa. — Picking up trash on the side of the road may seem like a punishment, but for Harrisburg residents like Evita Cada it is an opportunity to do something they love.
Cada was one of the over 350 volunteers that took to the streets with trash bags in hand to help clean up the city as part of Tri County Community Action’s 14th annual Great Harrisburg Litter Cleanup. With locations in Midtown, Uptown, and Allison Hill, the litter cleanup put the cleanliness of the city’s streets in the hands of the people who walk them.
