Southeastern University (SEU) officially celebrated the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of its new campus in downtown Winter Haven, marking a significant milestone in the university’s continued expansion across Central Florida.
“Our presence in Winter Haven emphasizes SEU’s deep commitment to expanding access to high-quality, Christ-centered education while continuing to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve,” said SEU President Kent Ingle. “We are thrilled and honored to become part of the bright future of Winter Haven.”
Community leaders, SEU leadership and staff, and local residents gathered together on April 14 for the ceremony. In addition to university leadership, attendees had the opportunity to hear from Winter Haven Mayor Brian Yates; CEO of Six/Ten, LLC, Bud Strang; and former mayor of St. Petersburg and investor/advisor of Six/Ten Rick Baker. Open tours of the campus were also offered.
SEU Winter Haven will serve undergraduate and graduate students in both traditional and online cohort programs, offering flexible pathways to in-demand degrees. The campus features classroom space, administrative offices and collaborative study areas…
