NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — All modes of severe weather are possible in Middle Tennessee Monday night into Tuesday morning. A second round of storms can be expected Tuesday evening into early Wednesday.

An Enhanced Risk (level 3/5) clips Trigg and Henry counties for Monday until 7 a.m. Tuesday.
A Slight Risk (level 2/5) cover most areas west of Interstate 65 including Davidson, Williamson, Sumner and Robertson counties.
A Marginal Risk (level 1/5) covers counties east of I-65 including portions of Rutherford, Wilson, and all Bedford counties.
The storms will ramp up to the west Monday night and push into Middle Tennessee closer to midnight. Storms will push from the northwest to the southeast through Tuesday morning, with the threat ending by about 7 a.m. The strongest storms will come across the region from midnight to about 5 a.m.

All modes of severe weather are possible. This includes large hail, gusty winds, heavy rain and the possibility of tornadoes. The way the storms are shaping up now is a line of storms, meaning if there are tornadoes, they will be embedded in the line on the leading edge.

A Slight Risk (level 2/5) has been issued for all of Middle TN and Southern KY for Tuesday until 7 AM Wednesday. A line of storms fires up Tuesday evening and comes across the Mid-State into Wednesday morning.
The timing of the storms is earlier than what is expected Monday into Tuesday. These could start firing up as early as 7 PM Tuesday and clear out by the early hours of Wednesday.
This round of storms looks to have a high chance for gusty winds and heavy rain. The tornado threat is very low, but could increase as we get more information closer to time.
Rainfall totals for the first half of the week vary from an inch to over two inches! This is good news, because Middle TN and Southern KY desperately need it! More rain comes in through the second half of the week…
