The Barn at Rowland Hills in Liberty served as the perfect setting for Friday’s annual Upper Cumberland Extension Women in Agriculture Conference with topics from cattle farming to gardening and weed prevention.
The event attracted a large crowd of women and other participants from across the region who gained valuable knowledge while enjoying food, fellowship, and the breathtaking views offered by The Barn at Rowland Hills. Built specifically to host weddings, family reunions, and other events such as the Women in Ag Conference, The Barn is perched atop the rolling Hills of Liberty overlooking what is known as the Forks of the Pike in an area that once served as a location for Civil War encampments in the 1860’s.
