OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WATE) — A person was rescued after being ejected from a boat on Melton Hill Lake near Oak Ridge, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said on Monday.
After “a boating incident,” the person was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

There have been six boating-related fatalities in Tennessee this year, including one on the Ocoee River Sunday afternoon, the TWRA said.
