Longtime St. Louis journalist killed in freak tire crash

(NewsNation) — A staple of the St. Louis news industry is dead after two semi-truck tires barreled into his car, according to local reports and officials.

Ray Hartmann, 73, founded The Riverfront Times and St. Louis Magazine. He was also on the local PBS debate program “Donnybrook” for nearly four decades.
