Road rage hit-and-run in Sparks leaves one man dead, suspect arrested

SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A local man has been taken into custody following a violent road rage confrontation that resulted in a fatal hit-and-run earlier this month.

The Sparks Police Department responded to the area of Vista Boulevard and Salomon Circle at approximately 5:26 p.m. on April 5, following reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers determined the suspect vehicle had fled the scene immediately after the collision.

The victim, identified as Joshua Hendricks, was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center in critical condition. He sustained catastrophic injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, a skull fracture, internal bleeding, and a punctured lung.
