Beloved Hell’s Kitchen restaurant set to serve final meal

HELL’S KITCHEN, Manhattan (PIX11) — Neighbors in Hell’s Kitchen are bracing to say goodbye to a beloved restaurant.

Mama Mia, at the corner of 9th Avenue and 44 Street, an immigrant-owned mom-and-pop that’s been around for 55 years, is set to serve its final meal.

The owners say rising rent and financial struggles following the pandemic have made it impossible to stay open.
