HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — One person was hurt, and a family was displaced following a residential structure fire Tuesday morning on Mitchell Road, according to the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue.
Crews were dispatched to the 20 block of Mitchell Road at approximately 6:35 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters noted smoke and flames were visible from the residence. They completed multiple searches of the residence and began an aggressive fire attack.
The fire was marked as a working incident around 6:40 a.m. and knocked down shortly after.
