Mark Robertson, the longtime Savannah radio personality whose voice became a daily companion for generations across coastal Georgia and South Carolina, has died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 72.
Robertson’s death was announced over the weekend by iHeartMedia’s AC “98.7 The River” WYKZ-FM Savannah, where he spent nearly five decades behind the microphone and became one of the region’s most recognizable media figures.
