BALTIMORE, MD—A Baltimore man who recently overcame a period of unemployment and the loss of his vehicle is celebrating a $100,000 windfall after an overtime shift led to a life-changing lottery win.

The winner, who identified himself by the nickname “A.R.” to maintain his privacy, claimed the top prize on a 50X the Cash scratch-off ticket on April 24, Maryland Lottery officials announced.
