HOUSTON, Texas — The Texas Medical Board has temporarily suspended the medical license of an 84-year-old Houston physician after determining his continued practice poses a threat to public welfare, officials said.
Rodolfo Garma Giraldi, M.D., had his license suspended effective immediately following a disciplinary panel decision. The board cited allegations that Giraldi aided or abetted the unlicensed practice of medicine, deviated from the standard of care involving 10 patients, and committed violations related to medical recordkeeping.
