Alamance County man charged with stealing HVAC units across Triad counties

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — An Alamance County man is facing felony larceny charges after deputies say he stole HVAC units from multiple businesses and churches.

According to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation was launched alongside Caswell and Rockingham counties on March 30, 2026. 34-year-old Bradley Richard Hall, of Elon, was named the main suspect in the investigation after authorities searched his home and found evidence tied to the thefts.

Investigators found that the HVAC units were sold for scrap metal. According to court documents, one of the units was stolen from CrossWay Church in Elon, which was valued at $11,500. Another HVAC unit was taken from St. James Baptist Church in Reidsville, Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church and Smiths Corner Store. Hall was arrested and charged with felony larceny along with felony possession of narcotics…
