Man gets 17 years for drug-related murder in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — A 21-year-old man has been sentenced for a drug-related murder in St. Louis’ Greater Ville neighborhood.

According to the St. Louis Circuit Court, Arryon McGee, from Bellefontaine Neighbors, Mo., pleaded guilty for his involvement in the February 2023 shooting death of 21-year-old Tyrell Survillion.

Police said Survillion was shot in the 4400 block of Ashland Avenue. According to court documents, surveillance video showed Survillion and a 17-year-old girl arriving in a car near a group of men. McGee approached the car, spoke with Survillion for a short time through the window, then pulled out a gun and shot him.
