BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise Rescue Mission Ministries invites the Treasure Valley community to join in honoring the accomplishments of 21 men and women graduating from the Mission’s New Life Discipleship & Recovery Program. The celebration will take place on Friday, May 8, at Ten Mile Christian Church, located at 3500 W. Franklin Rd in Meridian, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Community members, staff, and families are invited to enjoy a light dinner and dessert in the West Lobby Gym at 5 p.m., followed by the graduation ceremony, which begins at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony will highlight the accomplishments of the graduates, celebrating their resilience throughout their time in the New Life Program through shared testimonies, song, feature video, and words of encouragement from program staff and alumni.
This year, according to a recent news release, the Mission celebrates 30 years of its New Life Discipleship & Recovery Program. Since 1996, over 416 individuals have graduated from the program.
