RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Local organizations hosted Take Back the Night, a public rally, march and vigil against sexual violence on Wednesday at the Truckee Meadows Community College Dandini Campus.
The event was hosted by TMCC, Safe Embrace and Crisis Support Services of Nevada. The event was free and open to the public.
Take Back the Night began at 11 a.m. with a resource fair inside the Sierra Building, room 108. The fair ran until 1 p.m., when speakers began, followed by a march around campus and a candlelight vigil.
