CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Frosty mornings are very much on the table as the week goes on.

Skies will turn partly cloudy into the night. As we go through it, a few sprinkles or showers are going to again attempt to fall in eastern Iowa. Like last night, this disturbance won’t have a ton of moisture to work with, limiting the overall impact from those attempted showers. If you’re lucky enough to receive one, expect a brief period of raindrops as they move through.

Outside of any isolated showers, temperatures will turn chilly. Lows fall toward the upper 30s to around 40 degrees. Crawford County in southwest Wisconsin is included in a Frost Advisory tonight for temperatures that could be low enough to promote frost development.

Wednesday keeps that partly to mostly cloudy sky around, with the same kind of very slim chance of a sprinkle or light shower. Temperatures will get into the mid to upper 50s for highs, which is similar to what we’ve seen the last couple of days, but just a couple of degrees cooler…
