ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Downtown Albany Business Improvement District‘s Melba Madness food stroll is coming to the city on May 16. Organizers announced on Thursday the full menu of decadent, raspberry sauce-infused pairings that the participating restaurant will be offering.

Centered around Melba sauce, the sweet, tangy, syrupy condiment that hold a special place in the hearts of Capital Region foodies, the event will host 14 local establishments that were tasked with coming up with unique, culinary creations utilizing the dark red dip. Ticketholders will have a chance to taste each dish and mark off a stamp card for each spot they try, earning a chance to win Albany Hot Chocolate Stroll tickets upon completing 10 stamps.

- Square pizza bites with a Melba jam and bacon bits base, topped with mozzarella, fresh raspberries, crushed candied pecans, finished with a Melba-caramel drizzle

- Fried Vietnamese spring rolls with house-made Melba sauce
- Hilton Albany — 40 Lodge Street
- Candied Pistachio Panna Cotta: silky pistachio panna cotta topped with melba sauce, or Peanut Butter and Jelly Crostini: crisp crostini with with foie gras pâté, Melba gelée, and almond

- Pan-fried duck dumpling with Melba teriyaki

- Signature Monte Cristo with Melba sauce

Melba Madness will kick off at the Clinton Market Collective (CMC) located at 11 Clinton Avenue, where check-in will be held. You can buy tickets online through the Eventeny website or at CMC on the day of the stroll.
