Ambulance Crash In Nashville Leaves Minor Injuries, Patient Care Continues

A crash involving an ambulance from Robertson County Emergency Medical Services prompted an emergency response in Nashville, with officials reporting only minor injuries.

The incident happened Wednesday afternoon as Medic 10 from the Springfield station was transporting a patient to TriStar Skyline Medical Center. Authorities say the ambulance was struck on the passenger side at an intersection along Dickerson Road, just south of Old Hickory Boulevard.

Emergency crews from the Nashville Fire Department and Metro Nashville Police Department responded to the scene. Patient care was transferred to Nashville Fire EMS, which continued transport to the hospital…
