Investigators describe ‘worst case’ after dead ducks, neglected animals found in backyard

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Three people in Cumberland County are facing animal cruelty and related charges after investigators say they discovered multiple dead ducks and dozens of neglected animals at a home in East Pennsboro Township.

According to authorities, 53-year-old Dale Noles, 35-year-old Jennifer Welsh, and 19-year-old Madalynn Geibe were charged following an investigation that began last August.

Police say the case came to light after some decomposed ducks were found in a plastic children’s pool and in other locations in the backyard of the family’s Altoona Avenue home…
