Wood pieces scattered after truck rolls over on York County road

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A York County road was closed after a truck rolled over, spilling the load it was hauling, on Wednesday afternoon.

Newberry Township Police posted on social media a little after 2:30 p.m. to alert drivers that York Road was closed between Cedar Hill Drive and Park Drive but the road is back open.

A spokesperson for York County’s Office of Emergency Management said a red dump truck that was hauling wood in an attached trailer crashed around 1:38 p.m.
