A mystery blue sedan is now at the center of a South L.A. homicide case, and Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives are asking the public for help spotting it. On April 29, investigators circulated new images and a bulletin tied to a deadly shooting near Athens Park that left two men dead and five others wounded. The gunfire broke out around 8 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2025, in the 13200 block of Jarvis Avenue, where seven males were shot. Detectives say a blue 2000s sedan, possibly a Dodge Caliber, is believed to have been involved and are urging anyone with information to contact the Homicide Bureau or Crime Stoppers.
