Americans who make mistake disposing of trash will be fined $1,500 for first offense under new souped up rules

PEOPLE who dump trash in the wrong place just once could be fined $1,500 – and thousands more if they do it again.

A frustrated city council is on a mission to crack down on its waste crisis after spending $12million and picking up 7 million pounds of trash.

Last year in Oakland, an average of 25,000 complaints of illegal waste dumping were filed, with new reports every day.
