GLENPOOL, Okla. — The Glenpool Police Department released a traffic safety report indicating the speed reduction along Highway 67 has lowered the number of crashes along that stretch of road.
The speed reduction was implemented by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) in Oct. 2025 following the death of 9-year-old Talyn Bain who died in a fatal crash that occurred near Glenpool Public Schools.
ODOT lowered the speed limit from 65 mph to 45 mph along the stretch of Highway 67 that includes the Elwood, Warrior Road and Broadway intersections…
