LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Pool parties, family skate night, bingo, or a hike outside are just some of the ways Pride Month is being celebrated in Las Vegas this year.
Las Vegas PRIDE is celebrating 43 years of serving the community this year.

Las Vegas PRIDE, a 501(c)(3) non-profit in the valley, first began hosting events in May and June of 1983, when a series of events was held at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. Since then, with the exception of a few years, Las Vegas PRIDE events have been held every year.
Originally, PRIDE events were held in June, but due to hot weather, some events, including the city’s parade, have been held in October since 2016. October was chosen to coincide with LGBTQIA+ History Month, according to the non-profit…
