The Washoe County Sheriff’s SWAT and Hostage Negotiation Team assisted the Storey County Sheriff’s Office during a call involving an armed barricaded suspect in the Virginia City Highlands.
It happened Wednesday, April 29. WCSO initiated contact with the suspect, and after hours of negotiations, were able to de-escalate the situation.
