Allentown man allegedly led police on chase, crashed into tree

An Allentown man is hospitalized after leading troopers on a high-speed chase before crashing into a tree in Salisbury Township, state police said.

Trooper Nathan Branosky, public information officer with Pennsylvania State Police’s Troop M, said troopers attempted to stop the 2015 Ford F-250 shortly before 2:30 a.m. Friday at 31st Street SW and West Emmaus Avenue in the Allentown area.

The 30-year-old driver fled and a chase with law enforcement ensued. The driver kept going at a high rate of speed despite troopers activating sirens and emergency lights, Branosky said…
