Wickliffe Recreation Director Tim Stopp recently reported at a City Council meeting that maintenance and service department crews have been working hard to get Green Ridge Golf Course ready for play this year.
Last year, after a fungus destroyed the greens and ultimately made the course at 29150 Ridge Road unplayable, the city has since met with professionals to address the course’s issues.
“They are aerating, sanding, feeding and seeding in order to get (the greens) to grow and they are beginning to come back,” Stopp said, noting this was encouraging…
