This bridge replacement project will disrupt traffic in two Dauphin County townships

Work has started on a bridge replacement project spanning Beaver Creek on Nyes Road in Lower Paxton and South Hanover townships, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Contractors began installing temporary traffic signal poles Thursday to prepare for staged construction on the $2,016,352 project. Motorists traveling through the area should anticipate daylight lane restrictions and flaggers directing traffic during work hours over the coming days.
