ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Hollins University received a $10 million gift towards its Hollins Opportunity for Promise through Education (HOPE) Scholarship program, providing high-performing students with significant financial aid.
The HOPE Scholarship was established in 2021 and covers tuition, on-campus housing, meals and required fees. Originally designated for students from the Roanoke Valley, the program expanded its horizons in 2024 to consider Pell-eligible students from across the nation.
