Man killed in violent attack near Bronx subway stop: NYPD

WAKEFIELD, the Bronx (PIX11) — Police are searching for a masked suspect after a man was brutally killed near a Bronx subway stop on Friday, according to the NYPD.

Officers found the man with multiple slash wounds near East 233rd Street and White Plains Road in Wakefield at around 6:40 a.m., police said.

The victim was cut on the head, neck, and arm near the stairs to an elevated subway tracks at the East 233rd Street stop, according to police and video from the scene.

The man was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. The victim has not been identified.

Authorities said the suspect was wearing a ski mask and fled on a two-wheeled vehicle. There have been no arrests…
