FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting in the 200 blk. of Corwin Ln. That’s off S. Calhoun St., north of E. Tillman Rd.
The shooting happened around 4:45 Friday morning. According to Fort Wayne Police Department spokesman Sergeant Jonathan Cutler, when officers arrived on the scene they found a woman with an apparent gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital where doctors determined she was in life-threatening condition.
Detectives are looking for possible witnesses, surveillance video and anything that can help them determine what happened. Cutler said a language barrier is making the investigation more difficult…
