Coroner identifies 87-year-old woman killed in Star parking lot crash

STAR, Idaho — An 87-year-old woman who died in an area hospital after being hit by a vehicle in a Star parking lot this week has been identified.

The Ada County Coroner on Friday said Winona Johnson of Boise died after suffering multiple blunt force injuries in the crash on Wednesday, April 29. Johnson reportedly died in the emergency department of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

As KTVB previously reported, the woman was struck by a red 2017 Ram 1500 driven by her husband while he attempted to park the pickup truck in a stall. The Ada County Sheriff’s Office said Johnson exited the vehicle and stood in front of it to help guide her husband into the space…
