ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The ramp from Exit 6 on I-90 westbound to U.S. Route 9 southbound in Albany will close for several hours on Wednesday. The ramp will be closed from about 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The New York State Department of Transportation made the announcement on Friday. The closure will take place to facilitate a routine bridge inspection.
Drivers should follow the signed detour utilizing Northern Boulevard. Travel delays should also be expected, so motorists are encouraged to build extra time into their travel schedules.
