Celebrated Birmingham chef speaks out on restaurant closings: ‘We show up for each other’

The owners of Birmingham’s Hot and Hot Fish Club are speaking out following the cascade of restaurant closings associated with the Pihakis Restaurant Group over the last three weeks that has rocked Birmingham’s food scene.

Chris and Idie Hastings posted a comment on the restaurant’s Facebook page, saying their “hearts go out to everyone” affected – “the staff, their families, and the community members affected during this difficult time.”
