The City of Thomasville is inviting the community to “Experience the American Spirit in Thomasville, NC” with a weekend of free America 250 NC events celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary.
The festivities begin Friday night in Downtown Thomasville with the Painted Piano Festival starting at 6:30 p.m. Visitors can enjoy patriotic piano art, music and a historic flag display at City Hall.
Also on Friday, families can watch National Treasure under the stars at PACE Park at 8 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs, though bench seating will also be available…
