Syracuse, N.Y. — The news that his longtime employer, Metro Mattress, was filing for bankruptcy protection and closing all its stores, delivered a real gut punch to John Brown last fall.
“It just killed me to see all these employees lose their livelihood, especially when they didn’t do anything wrong,” the Baldwinsville resident said.
