Taylorsville High investigated for alleged inaction on student ‘threats’

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (KUTV) — The Granite School District is investigating Taylorsville High School’s response to claims of harassment and threats of sexual assault that parents say were dismissed or downplayed by school administrators, resource officers and a coach.

2News first reported accounts from the stepfather of a student who was said to have been subjected to threats. Now, loved ones of two other students have relayed their concerns.

A girl, according to her parents, went to the office repeatedly and filed “incident reports” through a digital portal but said the reports were not shared with people in a position to help — or were ignored…
