Santa Rosa officials have approved the expansion of an alcohol recovery center in the city’s Skyhawk neighborhood, despite ongoing concerns from local residents about safety and location.
The city’s planning commission granted a conditional use permit to Pura Vida Recovery Center, allowing it to increase capacity from six beds to 24. The facility, located in the Skyhawk Village shopping center, has operated for about three years and focuses on alcohol recovery and substance use treatment.
