SARATOGA, N.Y. (WNYT) – A Stillwater man is in custody after police say he stole gold coins from a home multiple times.
On April 30, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an inactive larceny complaint on County Route 67 in the Town of Saratoga.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, David J. Peters, 64, stole around $27,000 worth of gold coins from a safe inside the home in March 2023. Police say Peters also stole around $9,400 worth of gold coins from the same residence in January 2026…
