$1.5 million bond set for suspect in Cleveland crash that killed 1, injured 3

CLEVELAND — Zayd Alameen, a 22-year-old accused of killing 54-year-old James Cook and injuring three others in a crash in Cleveland, appeared in court on Monday morning.

During an arraignment hearing, Alameen, who is from Las Vegas, Nevada, entered a not guilty plea. His bond was set at $1.5 million. In addition, Alameen cannot have contact with any surviving victims or their families.
