FALLS TWP., Pa. – Pennsbury High School moved to virtual instruction Monday after the district received a threatening call earlier in the morning, prompting a full police sweep of the campus.
According to district officials, the call came in around 7:55 a.m. from a number traced to California. The caller claimed they were on their way to East High School with an assault rifle and a pipe bomb. The district says multiple high schools across the county received similar calls, and officials believe the incident is likely a hoax or swatting attempt.
