DELMAR, N.Y. (WNYT) – A Delmar mother is turning a deeply personal family experience into a children’s book meant to help others better understand love, loss, and living with disability.
Meaghan Baxter recently wrote and self-published “My Mama Moves Different,” a story inspired by her own mother, who lived with a progressive form of multiple sclerosis and used a wheelchair for most of Baxter’s life.
