ANN ARBOR, MI – A woman who broke into an Ann Arbor couple’s home while they were on vacation and went through elaborate means to try and make it her own has been sentenced for her crimes.
Washtenaw County Circuit Judge Arianne Slay sentenced Carler Scales April 30 to serve 18 months on probation and pay $5,797 in restitution to the Ann Arbor couple, court records show.
