HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The City of Huntsville has taken legal action to shut down several short-term rental properties, filing a complaint in the Circuit Court of Madison County on Monday.
The lawsuit targets Casago International, LLC, and several entities doing business as Patriot Family Homes for allegedly operating lodging establishments in restricted residential neighborhoods.
According to the filing, the defendants are managing properties at addresses including Oak Glen Terrace, Boswell Drive (2 properties), Bradley Street, and Knox Creek Trail. The City asserts these properties are located in Residence 1-B and Residence 2 districts, where STRs are generally prohibited…
