Today promises to be another beautiful day with isolated storms possible late in the afternoon and evening on Cinco de Mayo. A few showers are expected on Wednesday, followed by a significant cool-down on Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will then rise again over the weekend before the next chance of storms arrives late on Sunday.

As the day progresses, south winds will pick up, gusting up to 30 mph, and temperatures will rise to the mid-80s, making for another fantastic day.
Tomorrow, being Taco Tuesday and Cinco de Mayo, you might want to consider enjoying a margarita and a taco after work, or perhaps during lunch, depending on your work schedule. Additionally, scattered severe storms are expected to break out in the Dallas area and points northeast after 5:00 p.m. These storms will be few and far between, but they will be capable of producing large hail and damaging winds.
