BOISE, IDAHO (CBS2) — Idaho Power has filed two annual cost adjustment applications with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission that, if approved, would increase customer rates.
The utility filed its power cost adjustment application and fixed cost adjustment application.
The power cost adjustment allows Idaho Power to increase or decrease power cost rates to reflect the utility’s annual costs of supplying power. The annual power cost adjustment is combined with Idaho Power’s base rates to create a customer’s overall energy rate.
