Another top-level Allentown School District administrator has filed a discrimination lawsuit

A former Allentown School District deputy superintendent sued the district Friday, claiming she was forced to resign and had been treated unfairly because she’s Black.

She’s the third administrator to sue the district in less than two years under a claim they were fired or forced to quit due to discriminatory treatment.

Allentown School District spokeswoman Melissa Reese said the district takes all employment-related claims seriously. She wouldn’t comment on specific allegations made in the lawsuits, but said they are not evidence of any trend…
